BMF Taos' Peruvian
Pearl Jam
(aka PJ) Full Peruvian
(3/8 Accoyo) Inquire
Pearl Jam receives the blue ribbon, at age 9.2 months in his very first show 5/2/10. AND FOR VERY GOOD REASON!
The pairing of our Legacy son, PHA Peruvian Taos and our dam Isabella has consistently passed on the fineness, crimp and luster that we breed for.
PJ’s full brother Zeppelin, from the previous year, has already gathered several blues and a color championship in his first year showing! BMF Tao’s Zeppelin now resides at Delphi Alpacas, home of multiple grey color champion Avatar.
PJ brings the complete package, well balanced frame, solid bone structure, and presence. Pearl Jam exhibits excellent crimp, consistency and most of all fineness.
16.5 FD!!
Comfort Factor 99.6%
His fiber stats speak volumes once you lay hands on this boy’s blanket. We are very pleased so far with PJ’s development and will try to get him in as many shows possible.
The breeding potential for PJ brings many possibilities. He will definitely throw color and also the chance to throw black or bay black. Rose grey is not out of the question because he does slight grey markings in his ears and muzzle. PJ’s mom Isabella also carries these traits and she is a solid medium fawn; however her dad, Captain Midnight Jax was a true black!

Comments from Judge
Well balanced and proportional animal – smooth gate, very nice bone structure. Once the fleece was parted, the fineness and luster was evident. This was the finest animal of this class. Crimp was excellent throughout. A point to note; even though he was the darkest animal of the class, he was still the finest and this is usually not the case with dark animals.
2nd place 2010 AOBA Nationals
Judge Wade Gease comments were as follows: Wow! this animal has a stunning fleece with incredible crimp. This yearling does have fineness over the first place animal and is well balanced.
